Our Belief

Jernvirke was founded in 2017 on the belief that we should create garments, not fashion. For us, there's a clear distinction between the two. We produce our garments based on materials, comfort, and functionality rather than trying to keep up with styles and trends. Our garments are meant to be worn in your everyday life, wherever it might take you, and we take pride in making them as good as we possibly can.

All our garments are crafted from 100% natural materials, sourced and produced in Europe. We don't include any synthetic fibers in our creations because there's simply no need.

This is us!

We are Olga & Martin Ridne. We are married, have three kids, and live in Stockholm, Sweden. We enjoy being in the outdoors and making things with our hands.

Olga

Olga hails from the plains of Västergötland and can be seen ice skating on Vättern during the winter and swimming in Göta Canal during the summer. She still complains that the Baltic Sea isn't salty enough.

Martin

Originally from the Island of Gotland in the Baltic Sea, Martin enjoys a good wave and a salty breeze. He also likes mountains. But there aren't any on Gotland.
